First Bambu Lab P1S print fail

Printed some buckle clips and was a bit ambitious in thinking the clips would print with such a small surface area for the first layer. They broke free. Printed again with rafts and it worked fine. Переглядів 451Місяць тому
After a few months of use the Desiccant in my 3D printed Desiccant holders in the Bambu Lab P1S AMS unit showed they had absorbed a lot of moisture. So I tested recharging them in the microwave and oven.

Tyrese Haliburton gets away with a massive carry before game winner in NBA Finals Indiana vs Bucks
Переглядів 2,3 тис.2 місяці тому
NBA refs virtually never call a carry - ever. But this one is particularly bad and especially when the game is on the line like this in the finals. Rule: A player who is dribbling may not put any part of his hand under the ball and (1) carry it from one point to another or (2) bring it to a pause and then continue to dribble again. Section II-Dribble A player shall not run with the ball without...

Inexpensive alternative to Telsa UMC - MIDA Adjustable Portable EV Charger
Thank you for this video and sharing the settings you found. I almost gave up on PETG. Had exactly the same problems like in your video. Now printing with Bambu Labs PETG works almost perfect.
Wow dell made this 10 years ago?
Whitch settings did you use? Is it Bambu Lab basic PETG?
Saved my bacon, thanks.
40%? Damn that’s doodoo
Thanks so much for sharing, after following the settings my petg prints are almost perfect. But I noticed that theres always bit of sagging on one side of the print, I wonder is it caused by fan speed settings? Im also on P1S
where autolight? forgot to review😅
more retract, less speed, dry filament, adjust temp
Dry out your filament. I have a little toaster oven and I put it in "Warm" mode and toss the whole TPU roll in there for 3 hours then print with it. Much better result.
It is super easy to make drybox yourself, cooller vent, polysterine box, old radiator, bullet heater, dirt cheap warm floor controller, thermal sensor. I bet you could make everything flying for 25 bucks
That filament is wet as hell
Looks like adhesion issues to me, try washing it and put some glue on ut
Did you dry out the filament?
It was brand new and I cracked the seal and immediately put it in the printer.
@@reviewsandprojects still need to dry TPU, doesn't matter if it's brand new. That goes for any filament, just because it's packaged doesn't mean it hasn't absorbed moisture.
Failure is only the beginning dawg Try again fail fail again but fail again better next time
Turn on in skin travels. Should help with the stringing.
This is your issue. You have wet filament.
I use this device as a UPS. It seems to work stably, there has never been any breakdown or malfunction. Having charged its batteries, it simply passes through itself the voltage from the outlet to the consumers connected to it. The device itself is damn good. It is also worth noting the very durable lithium iron phosphate batteries with a stated huge number of charge-discharge cycles. The only serious drawback is that when used as a UPS and simply while charging from a socket, it periodically turns on a very noisy cooler to cool down; even turning on quiet mode in the application does not help with this
Looks to have done a fine job of cooking. Steamed Fish may be an option, especially with Ramen.
can this be used as a full ups mode? like without plugging out the charger? what happens if its fully charge will the charger automatically cuts the power?
It works quite well as a UPS. The only drawback is the very noisy cooler inside which periodically turns on when the device heats up. The hum is quite loud and being in the same room with this thing is not very comfortable.
Thank you i was trying to print a robotic arm with petg but my print was not sticking to the bed , it was stringy, printed noodles . Thank You . this helped ,p1s.
He was carrying all the time
Great write up and worked wonders. Thank you! What are your cooling settings under the filament settings?
Thanks for the settings
It is nice but doesn't look anything like the one from the movie prop.
Okey thanks for the vid... "P1S PET-G settings for successful 3D prints" that is your titel. can you share your setting then?
the link to the settings is in the description - www.themakersphere.com/bambu-lab-x1-carbon-petg-settings/
Bambu was too cheap for the $2000 printer to just put a rechargeable dehydrator in? lol They cost like $15
this ones half that price but i mean sure would be cool wouldnt it
On a 20,000 mAh battery pack how long should this last ? We are not sure. Any info kindly appreciated.
Thank you for sharing! I’m going to try printing with PETG this evening so I’m glad I found this! I was about to send the print with the default print speeds on the x1c 😅
I could not find the speed mode within the setting in my account, is the speed mode accessed on the printer itself or is there a way to access the speed mode?
I believe it's only on the X1 Carbon
NBA Finals? Did I read the caption correctly?
playoffs, finals series, we call it semi-finals
Not NBA finals Btw
i see lebron
Carry
Yet nobody cares if it were Lebron or curry or luka
it seems you dont know nba rules. without trolling, thats not a travel call. he can do 3000 steps while the ball is in the air
It seems you don't know the NBA rules. This is either a carry, or a gather which given he doesn't stop becomes a travel. DYOR This is taken directly from the NBA rules: Rule: A player who is dribbling may not put any part of his hand under the ball and (1) carry it from one point to another or (2) bring it to a pause and then continue to dribble again. Incorporating the Gather into the Traveling Rule The gather will be expressly incorporated into the traveling rule to clarify how many steps a player may take after he receives the ball while progressing or completes his dribble: A player who gathers the ball while progressing may (a) take two steps in coming to a stop, passing or shooting the ball or (b) if he has not yet dribbled, one step prior to releasing the ball to start his dribble. A player who gathers the ball while dribbling may take two steps in coming to a stop, passing or shooting the ball.
@@reviewsandprojects if you push the ball in high speed through the court, players are allowed to take multiple steps. You think they are suddenly gonna call it now when there was no defense there with him?
salty
Carry is carry. Doesn't matter where on the court it is.
like any of that wouldve mattered
in the backcourt, doesnt effect play at all. no one will call it, and its stupid to call that.
So after a basket the other team can just carry the ball in their hands until it's out of the back court? Tell that to Russel
Thats not fair we should have won that game😢
i Know! hopefully giannis gets back on the court so we can beat the pacers!
This a reach , that’s not a carry
Bro his hand is underneath the ball
Taken directly from the NBA rule book: NBA rules: Rule: A player who is dribbling may not put any part of his hand under the ball and (1) carry it from one point to another or (2) bring it to a pause and then continue to dribble again.
as a bucks fan it’s annoying but a lot of people doing that. also it’s the playoffs not finals
Yep 100% people do it all the time and it never gets called
No he bounced before the third step
I think hes saying that he picked it up
the carry occurs as his hand is clearly under the ball. Then he effectively runs with (the travel). You only get two steps after you've picked up the ball and then shoot it, lay it up, whatever - you can't take two steps and then just dribble it again. But regardless the whistle should have blown on the carry.
@@reviewsandprojects I know it’s petty and probably a waste in ur end but it would be a great opportunity for me pls
thanks for the video :)
This was a fantastic guide. I was about to give up on using PETG with X1C. The lower speed and infill made the difference. Thank you for posting! I did have one question regarding PETG still getting stuck to the stock tip and riding up the boot any suggestions?
I heated up the hot end and then pulled it out with some small pliers. Next print though I let the machine do it and it did successfully heat it up and clean it itself so now I don’t worry about it
links ?
All Pandabuy links are down
really helped me, thank you. curious if you are leaving the printer enclosed (top and door closed?). also pretty comical how bad bambu's own settings are, even with their own filament....
Yes agreed, big fail from bambu. I keep it all closed up
i have a print dimension issue. I’m trying to print a round part that’s 2.0 inch diameter 1 inch tall. . The part is coming out 2.000 on one side and if i check a different spot (180) it’s at 1.990 ( .010 difference) out of round. How can i get this dimensions closer to 2.0 inches diameter? I have default settings pla P1S
Wow that is the kind of videos that we need…take the power stations to real life tasks ,not just charging phones ,we have power banks for that .what is the bran of that 12 volt cooker Sir ?🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩 to the video
it doesn't have a brand name. I got it from aliexpress - just search for 12 volt rice cooker as they're all the same
Bro got the same printer it is amazing isn’t it only had it for a few weeks but still amazing
Where’s the spreadsheet
